Antique 1900s does Georgian cut steel beaded pink velvet evening purse - Made in France

Hot pink velvet late Victorian - I think?! - cut steel beaded purse, with steel frame with large cut steel decoration. 

Originally silk lined, this has shattered to be none existent, but exterior velvet all good. The mirror is still in place- just, but has lost it’s silk backing and is quite fixed. 

Some rust to the steel beads and frame as shown, but the overall impression is still pretty sparkly, as intended.

The frame construction is particularly Georgian.. as is the style. However I don’t think the lining and mirror could be as early - and they seem to have been added at the same time as the velvet judging by the thread so I’m going to go with later, and thinks it’s more likely late Victorian/early 20c revival.

Amazing colour to the velvet, with no fade! It would display beautifully, and velvet is strong, beads all secure and fringing intact.

Measures: body is approx 7” x 8”, with the frame being approx 5.5” across side to side.
