Vintage 1920s antique paste and silver lamé ribbon headband or flapper hair decoration

Antique claw set paste hinged decoration has been attached to a length of silver lamé ribbon (relatively neatly, but is clearly homemade) at the centre front. No closures, but you could add some hooks or a press stud to fit you?

The decorative section consists of a hinged central panel, with two smaller sections either side. It has bars at either end to thread ribbon through. Secured with lamé thread.

Fits me around the lower forehead, flapper style, but you could easily adjust to be smaller to be worn higher/turn into more of an Alice band if you added elastic. Or even use as dress decoration.

Comes complete with modern velvet gift pouch, as shown.

Measures:

Decoration a little over 4 and 3/4” across
Squares 1” deep
Ribbon 24” end to end

Condition:

Paste all present and secure but as you can see there is some yellowing to stones. Easy to change if you’ve the patience, or just wear as is.
There is a little tarnish to the silver lamé ribbon but nothing major.
