1920s vintage fortune teller’s costume - waistcoat and bag in lamé
Home-made 1920s or 30s fortune teller’s (part) costume, with waistcoat and matching bag in 1920s black and silver lamé.
The waistcoat is trimmed with coins, and the bag is rather crudely constructed with a green cord drawstring.
Both are in reasonable useable condition for costume, homemade, with some various areas of tarnish as shown, and odd seams to the waistcoat. The lining of the bag needs repair. Selling as a collectable, really!
Measures:
Bust approx 36”
Length from nape to hem approx 15.5”
Bag stands approx 8” high
Condition:
As above. Please see photos. Selling as found. Structurally no damage to the lamé fabric, aside from small hole to silky lining of waistcoat. There are some random shaping darts as shown to back of waistcoat which I didn’t unlock, seems to work as is. Lots of tarnish.
Please note, I will always combine postage where possible and refund any overages over £1. Please ask if you’re unsure.
Postage to the US has increased recently so apologies for the high price! I send everything tracked, and will send your reference once your order has been posted - along with any refunds owed.
