Vintage eau de nil workwear wrapover overall c. WWII 1930s to 1940s munitions factory

Original 1930s into 1940s - looks like a factory workers overall or dress/gown.. I found an image at the imperial war museum, which is not of the actual garment but looks very similar (see last photos: credit  https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/205125775 )

Triangular front pocket (looks more late 30s) and wrap over bodice, from which the tie pulls through the side seam for a secure fit - and makes it more dress-like than jacket. From my wardrobe, bought to wear as a day dress over a slip but never even tried it on.. 

Would fit a more volup size, it’s labelled a size 50 (hips) and OS. 

There is a small repair and some overall variation in colour (wash fade, I think) but nothing drastic. Small rust spots back of neck and pocket point.

Bust 44/46” max 

Waist 34” to be comfortably wrapped over - I’ve not clipped it on mannequin however, I’ve just tied it so could be worn by smaller, but would look much better with curves!

Hips 48” comfortably 

Length from nape to hem approx 44”

underarm to cuff 20”

shoulder seam to seam approx 16.5”

Condition: 

 As above - are photos. I’ve left the cuff buttons, which are original but slightly mismatched! Washed and ready to wear.
