Victorian ‘man in the moon’ diminutive button, set in a gilt mount. I bought this with the intention of making it into a necklace charm by adjusting the shank etc, but just haven’t got around to it!
It’s really highly detailed, it has a few tiny imperfections which may be from manufacture; it’s been hugely magnified for the close up’s so they’re not really visible to the naked eye.
Measures: tiny! A fraction under 1cm across
Condition: Gilt has rubbed to rear with age. A lovely collectable.
