1930s uniform, or perhaps sporting wear blouse? Wemco seem to have been around since the twenties. So useful and comfortable to wear, looks great under pinafores!
The material feels a little like a chambray, soft weave, maybe a cotton/raton blend as doesn't crease as easily as pure cotton. Lovely shade of blue.
Slightly blouson sleeves into double button cuffs, and a squared off neckline with left hand working button placket opening. MOP buttons.
I always envisaged this worn with an excellent bobbed haircut!

I think best for max U.K. 10 or 12 at largest.
Bust flat 44” - but meant to be loose
Sleeve head to cuff end 25”
Shoulder/nape to hem approx 18”
Shoulder seam to seam 17 and 1/2”
Condition:
Generally very good, the odd little fluffy bit to corner seams on neckine, but stitching all in place.
Wear to the bound seam as shown, doesn't affect anything.
Originally I think this may have had an elasticated waist, I haven’t replaced as I liked it loose! I can’t decide if there’s a very slight fade line or not at the shoulderline. If there is its not enough to be an issue.
