1970s brown Mongolian lamb vintage jacket - rock star style Afghan
An original shaggy sheepskin (Mongolian lamb, or shearling? Like the lining of Afghan coats - it’s labelled as sheepskin) good quality 1970s rock star hip length jacket from quality maker antartex. It's a chestnut brown, afraid the mannequin photo's aren't quite natural light as weather so awful here. I added a photo with a bit of sunlight!
Fastens to the front with 4x furriers hooks up to the neckline.
Fully lined in satin, it looks to have been little worn. It’s hip length, so a bit easier to wear than the full length afghans. I love it but mustn’t keep!
Measures: Shown on modern UK8 - i've been quite cautious with measurements due to the bulk! Up to a 12 max I think depending on bosom
Bust 38" fastened (underarms is 40 externally, but you need to be smaller including cup room)
Length from nape to hem approx 26"
Shoulder seam to seam approx 17"
Top of sleeve length shoulder to hem 22" approx
Very good. Appears little worn, the only real wear is to the covering on the furriers hooks. The lining is very good to excellent!
If interested from overseas let me know - shipping may seem very high outside of UK as think it may have to be couriered, but if I know your location I can get a more accurate (cheapest!) tracked quote. Thanks!
