Soft nice quality acrylic knit material in black, so warm but not too thick, with quilted blockprint patterned border to hem of skirt and sleeves.

This is also echoed by the yoke trim to the bodice.  shoulder darts give soft shape into the sleeve head and lead into belled sleeves.

Flattering shape, with slightly high waist into softly gathered flared maxi skirt.

A designer who I wish I knew more about but have never managed to find out much beyond the fact that the company was established in 1971, and produced ‘boutique’ style dresses throughout the 1970s.

Measures:

I’d say a U.K. 8 approx (small bust due to alts, although is a knit so has a little give)

Bust 34” max
High waist 26”
Hips free
Sleeve head to hem 19.5 (approx bracelet length)
Nape to hem 52”

Condition:

Having owned this for a few years, I only just noticed there are historical alterations to neckline when I was checking for flaws. Only really noticeable due to internal hand stitching (possibly originally a deep v and open to waist, with tie neckline - if so they may well have cleverly used the ties as bias trim). They’re incredibly neatly done!

Tiny repair to Lhs bodice by waist seam.

Another tiny nick to material lower centre back of skirt, but left as is. Same flaw last two photos.

Please see photos.

Clean and ready to wear.
