Late 1960s to 1970s original printed cotton mirrored and embroidered blouse
Nice early one I think judging by style of size label in seam. Strikes me as more Afghan made for western market than an Indian cotton top, but could be wrong - no other labels. Easy to wear style to be worn loosely. Nice wide sleeves, ties to neckline. Mirrored and embroidered details to sleeves.
Measures: meant to be oversized - shown unclipped on uk8
Bust 42” max
Hips 52” max
Shoulder seam to seam 16”
Length from shoulder to hem approx 27”
underarm to cuff approx 19”
Condition:
Some dye misprinting to the block print, some wear and loose threads on embroidery but generally nothing wrong, mainly just the slightly handcrafted nature of the construction. I spotted one missing mirror piece and the ties are a little ‘untwisted’ but overall it’s clean, and ready to wear .
