late 1970s vintage Mary Farrin 'Levison Original' knitted maxi dress
Cheery sunflower yellow dress from collectable knitwear designer Mary Farrin, in drapey viscose boucle knit. Shape is very 1930s, with balloon sleeves and gathered cuffs, fitted bodice down into a slightly fared full length column skirt. The twisted cable style trim in bright white contrast to tops of balloon sleeves and around the wide scoop neckline, leads into a integral tie to centre front.
It's in excellent shape, and appears to have been little worn.
Label reads "Levison Original by Mary Farrin, 95, Mortimer Street, London W1"
Measures: Up to around a modern uk10 depending on bust?
Bust unstretched 24" up to 36" max
Waist 22" to easily 28"

Length from nape to hem approx 55" laid flat - but will of course shorten once stretched onto any curves
Condition:
As above, no real flaws to note at all, and is clean and read to wear. There was only one snag on the boucle (not a hole) which I have pulled back through. No damage or marks, it really is very good!
