vintage Jean Varon graphic print blouse with dolman bishop sleeves.
Fine cotton (almost a cotton lawn, semi opaque) graphic print blouse, in teal and black. A wonderful cut as you'd expect from this label, with very full dolman sleeves, into a deep three button cuff which has a flared edge to cuff.
Slightly flared collar, button through front. Nicely made, with centre back seam and slightly fitted waist.
I'd bought with the intention of wearing under a pinafore style maxi dress, but just haven't got around to it. I wonder if it was originally part of a two piece? Colours are gorgeous.
Label (well worn but legible!) is Jean Varon, and a hand wash advisory. Size tag has wash fade so cannot read.
Measures: Approx modern uk 8/10 depending on desired fit
waist up to 30"
Nape to hem approx 22"
Condition: Fabric itself excellent.
- wear to label
- I’ve replaced the two top buttons on both cuffs (imagine they’d been removed as too tight?) and they’re not a perfect match as different tone mop, but best I had to hand! One chip to another on front placket is only other thing to note.
